In protest to WWI's organized mass killings,
Marcel Duchamp started a movement called Dadaism or more commonly called "Dada"(french for hobby horse=meaningless). Dadaists preached non-sense and anti-art by putting their signatures on ready made objects. One of Duchamps well known images is a urinal, laid on its side, titled,' Fountain' and signed with his pseudo name R. Mutt. We believe most dogs are true Dadaists. |
